The casual listener may be forgiven for assuming Sinatra to be just a jazz style expressionist, On the contrary, Frank Sinatra considered his voice to be an instrument just like any other instrument in the orchestra in fact he strove to develop his vocals as if he were in fact playing an instrument. Sinatra observed woodwind and brass players and emulated the musician’s ability to hold notes and move on through notes seemingly without taking breath. Frank Sinatra also introduced bel canto to his music adapting his singing to a powerful passionate style other times in a much softer, personal nuanced style. unique tribute to Frank Sinatra. Whilst performing his tribute act to Sinatra he not only sings authentically in the style of Old Blue Eyes but also introduces the precise timing and phrasing that became the signature
of the great man evoking the spirit of ‘The Rat Pack’ at The Sands, in Las Vegas.
Journey through classic songs written by some Sinatra’s favourite composers including Jerome Kern,
Lorenz Hart, Cole Porter, Sammy Cahn, Victor Young, Johnny Burke and Jimmy Van Heusen.
John will take you on a musical journey delivered in the vocal style of the legendary Frank Sinatra
as performed during his act. John also performs songs in the style of the legendary Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole and Matt Monro to mention just a few. John is based in the Midlands within 10 miles of Birmingham International Airport. He has direct access to to all areas of the country via
the Midland Links Motorway Network.
